Eleanor Albert was a Fellow at MERICS and specializes in Chinese foreign and domestic policy, as well as China’s participation in global governance. At the same time, she is conducting her PhD in political science at the George Washington University and is a PhD in residence at the Institute for Security and Conflict Studies at GW’s Elliott School of International Affairs. She is also a research fellow at Georgetown University's Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues. Eleanor has previously worked for the explanatory journalism arm of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. She holds a dual master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris and Fudan University in Shanghai.
